Giant Doily Rug Made with Bare Hands

The term doily, which originally means gentle, affordable woolens, refers to ornamental mats, which are crocheted and sometimes knitted out of cotton or linen thread. Here, designer Jean has converted her obsession for vintage doilies into a mega reality with the full size area rugs created using half-inch thick cotton ropes.

The highlight of the Mega Doily Rugs is that all of it is made with her own bare hands! Each rug is made-to-order and takes around 4 to 6 weeks to be made. The original rug measures 3 feet in diameter, but the size of the rugs can be customized on request. Priced at $600, the Mega Doily Rug is your answer to designer floor accessories.
