Picture Frame House is a Private, Day and Night Time Oasis

The Picture Frame House is a 6,400 square feet contemporary home located in Sarasota, Florida, USA, built by Voigt Brothers Construction and DSDG Inc. Architects. The concept behind the house was to design an international style modern residence with all round views of Sarasota downtown, the Gulf of Mexico, Sarasota Bay and New Pass. The residence is designed around a central courtyard with a garage and guest house in the front and the main house in the rear with a swimming pool lined walkway on first level and bridge on the second level.

According to the designers, the courtyard becomes a private day and night time oasis with fire, water and cantilevered stair case leading to the front door which seconds as bleacher style seating for watching swimmers in the 60 foot long wet edge lap pool. The floor plan is quite different: the secondary bedrooms are on the first floor and the great room, master bedroom and kitchen are on the second storey so as to increase the views in the most commonly used rooms. The interiors are elegant and done very stylishly. Check out the pictures and enjoy the beauty of this charming house.
