ESPA is a luxurious spa covering 20,000 square feet on three floors of the EDITION Hotel in Istanbul. Luxurious interiors accompany clients in their search for beauty, health and wellness. Turkish tradition influenced the interior design a great deal, guiding the design team working on this project – Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA). Located in the historic Levent neighbourhood, the hotel’s spa welcomes its guests with opulence and a comforting charm.

Playing with light was the most important feature of the design. The faceted cut out patterns found in a traditional Turkish Hammam is visible in the interiors of the spa. Here, chocolate brown marble and cast bronze sinks convey a sense of heavenly relaxation.
