Casa La Siesta Luxury Boutique Puts Reclaimed Materials to Play

Casa La Siesta is a luxury boutique nestling in two acres of grounds with breath-taking views. The hotel is located minutes away from historic Vejer de la Frontera,Andalucia,Spain. The luxury hotel has been restored and renovated by British owners Lee and Amelia Thornley, who have taken care to use only reclaimed architectural materials, combining wrought iron balustrades, decorative stone arches and red stone flagging from Cordoba. They have preserved all the original features and, at the same time, utilized sustainable energy technology.

The seven-bedroom retreat is designed in such a way that from each room one can have rich views of the surrounding countryside.  Each has its own private terrace, air-conditioning, under floor heating and a unique decorative style.  Emperor or King sized beds are made up with fine Egyptian cotton. The bathrooms are rustic luxuries. High pressure rain showers, roll-top baths and grooming products by REN complete the bathing experience. Guests can dine by the fireside on cooler nights or alfresco in the courtyard in summer. Breakfast is delivered to ‘favorite spots’ and ‘help yourself’ fruit and refreshments are included and are always available. What do you think of this boutique?
