Every time I hear of or see a kitchen trolley I immediately think of old movies with servants getting dinner in the room of a fancy hotel for two young people spending their hone moon. Or maybe used for the five o’clock tea, which is served on the terrace by some old English ladies who are brought those tiny China tea-cups?
Apparently, today this item is far from being obsolete — you can easily find some very useful activities for a kitchen trolley.
The most appropriate use for a kitchen trolley is to carry using a trolley, or maybe having all those things needed for a barbecue carried out in the backyard from the kitchen? It’s just perfect.or store the items you need. Just imagine having friends for dinner and serving a classic dinner. Also, a kitchen trolley can, when you need it, offer more storage space in your kitchen just by having it there. It’s just perfect.
There are many different kinds of kitchen trolleys, but the best ones for storing things are the ones that have wooden drawers. They can actually be used as tables, especially if they have the upper side looking more like a worktop rather then a tray. You just need to secure the rolling balls at the end of their legs so that the “table” won’t start moving inside the kitchen while you are chopping some onion.
There are some specially designed kitchen trolleys that have a small cabinet, some space and then a little drawer again. They are perfect for storing your smaller pots and all the tableware for example.
If the trolley has two or three shelves, use it as storage space for different spices and ingredients that must be placed really handy. If the top shelf is made of metal and has some holes in it, then it is perfect for placing the dishes there after washing.
